The Edo State House of Assembly has summoned Hon. Natasha Irobosa, representing Egor Constituency, to appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee within one week over allegations of misconduct, The PUNCH reports.
Speaker Blessing Agbebaku stated that Irobosa’s conduct has “dragged the name of the Assembly in the mud,” emphasizing the need for members to uphold the integrity of the House.
He said, “Hon. Natasha Irobosa has been summoned to appear before the Ethics and Privilege Committee of the Assembly due to her recent conduct which has been trending online. This conduct drags the name of the House into the mud, and it is the responsibility of members of the Assembly to conduct themselves well.”
The Speaker added that the committee would submit its findings to the House within two weeks, signaling swift action on the matter.
Viral Social Media Clips Raise Concerns
The summons comes amid growing controversy surrounding Irobosa’s relationship with Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia (2Baba). Fans have expressed concern following viral videos that captured heated exchanges between the couple during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.
In one clip, 2Baba confronted Natasha live on air, asking, “What is your problem?” The situation escalated as Natasha attempted to seize the phone before the session abruptly ended.
Adding to the public concern, another viral video showed the singer being handcuffed and escorted away by police officers in the United Kingdom, raising fears about a potential personal and marital crisis.

Kaka Igbokwe, his former manager, remarked, “You go out there to make your money; even if it’s 100,000 people listening, the money is enough to sustain you. When I started working with 2Baba, my aim was for him to be larger. You can’t compare yourself to Burna Boy, but you can achieve what Angélique Kidjo has done. You can still do arenas.”
